ASTM F803 Standard
ASTM F803, safety standard specified by the American Society for Testing and Materials in USA.
This standard covers many ball games including squash, tennis, basketball, badminton and handball, cricket and three levels of baseball.(kids: 40 mph, teenagers: 55 mph and adults: 70 mph).
These standards tests are aimed at the impact resistance of the product: shooting at different and direction according to various balls.
Simulate the impact process of the head, pass the tested glasses, the lens cannot be displaced or fragments from the frame, and the frame cannot be break or touch the eye socket or face, etc.
The ASTM grade frame will install a 3mm thick PC lenses.
